christi: I used to write short stories in school, and had several teachers who said I should go on to write, however, I dropped out of school at the end of my junior year after struggling for years with school work. I never pursued writing because I always felt I was way to uneducated to do so. However, I had many story ideas that have plagued my head since I was young, and have said a dozen times over the last 15 years "I want to write a book" Finally one evening, I sat down at the computer, and opened a word document, and then started typing in all the story concepts I could remember. It’s funny, the only word I had at the time for my story was "emovamp" and I actually put it at the bottom of the list! Six months later I had published the first book and finished writing the second in a series that will span at least five books in length. I still think I am terribly uneducated, but I made the decision to not let that hold me back any longer; if no one ever cares to read these books, I will have no regret, because I can now say, good or bad, “I WROTE A BOOK!” and now I can say "I wrote TWO!" Other than having my children, it has been the biggest accomplishment of my life!
